New Moms

5 things I wish I knew as a first time mom.

  1. YOU ARE GOING TO BE YOUR BABY’S FAVORITE THING

It doesn’t matter how many toys you have. Your baby is always going to prefer your face and spending time with you. It’s incredible the bond you are going to experience, it’s just going to be there. So don’t even spend money on unnecessary toys that will bore your baby after 10 seconds at most.

  1. DONT WORRY WOMAN, YOU ARE GOINT TO BE FINE. AND A GOOD MOM TOO.

Its crazy how much we think about “am I going to be a good mother?”. The answer is yes. Regardless of what you do, your baby will change your life and bring out the best version of you. It’s just gonna happen. Don’t think too much and just be positive and do the best you can. You are going to be a great mom and become a better woman. You are going to be just fine.

  1. DONT THINK ABOUT BAD DELIVERY SCENARIOS.

This is something I’ve though about a lot during pregnancy. How strong is the pain going to be? Will I make it through? And you start reading about other people experiences and talk to all your new mom friends . I was definitely scared. But now I can tell you that every experience is different. Against every expectation I’ve had a great delivery experience. I think that if you are in an environment surrounded by great professionals and you are just living everything with a positive mindset, the delivery experience can only turn out to be an incredible, beautiful memory. Worry less and enjoy the most incredible moment of your life, you are going to meet YOUR baby for the first time.

  1. I NEED SO MANY THINGS FOR THE BABY. NOT TRUE.

While you learn how to take care of your baby you’ll see that you really don’t need much. You won’t even use the majority of things you bought and your baby is going to be just fine. Go with the flow and see what your baby needs while learning about each other.

  1. IT’S TOO COLD TO BRING THE BABY OUTSIDE, TOO EARLY TO BRING HIM AROUND IN THE CAR.

I wish I knew that regardless of the changes that my life would have had, nothing was really going to change. I could have kept my winter walks on the beach or go around to run errands with the car. You simply add a new fun component to your routine and it’s simply amazing. Your baby is going to get used to it and love that time out with you. Just cover your baby if it’s too cold and bring him out to breathe fresh air. It’s going to be beneficial for both of you!
