Ok, I am a pianist so it’s obvious that my baby has been exposed to music since day 1. With that being said, my brother bought for her this mini piano and she simply LOVED IT! She plays in her own way and often we sit together making up melodies or playing something she recognises and she can’t stop dancing, moving all around and clapping her hands. 2. Drum Set
A couple of friends gifted this awesome drum set to my baby when she was about 6 months, and this is still one of her favourite toys. With time, she memorised all the songs and she can’t stop moving around when she hears them. Plus. the touch drum set is just too much fun for her and we end up spending a lot of time with this little item (which is extremely safe since the beginning) making rhythms and dancing along the device’s songs.

3. Guitar
We got this recently for Christmas because my baby would keep looking and trying to touch my bother’s guitars. I highly recommend this! it’s the same brand of the drum set which both my baby and I fell in love with. It’s extremely safe because it doesn’t have actual cords (they work with a simple touch) but the sound is absolutely realistic and very fun to play with!

4. Music Mat
I am not going to lie, this is extremely fun to start using even before your baby starts walking. This was a gift and we used it daily for about 7/8 months. A simple way to start interacting with music since the very beginning. First music toy of the list to buy!

5. Percussion Set
I got this because it was the only thing missing to our little music collection and I did not regret it. This is the kind of set she constantly picks up during the day which add more music and fun to our routine. One little note, I would put the triangle instrument aside until your baby is 1 year old :)
